throughout our lives.   

It's not often that fathers are willing to accept praise,

take a break from the grill,

or let their children grab them a drink while they relax.   Many times we lean towards the  

typical or stereotypical father's day gifts,  

like a new tie, or some grill tool that will  

inevitably be used to prepare food that will  

wind up on our plates rather than Dad's.    

This year I think it may be more important  

just to put your arm around your  

father and simply say "Thank you."
