Hey Y'all! Just wanted to remind everyone that I will be at Martha's Market again this year. This is one of my favorite shows to do, and I always look forward to it. There will be over 65 vendors this year!
I will of course have my wonderful cakes available for sale as well as some of my favorite gifts and edible goodies. I highly recommend you come out to grab samples and try our Soon-To-Be-Famous Low Country Dip. You'll be hooked from the moment you try!
Martha's Market helps support the Martha Jefferson Hospital Women's Committee. Since the inception of the market 16 years ago, this fantastic group of women volunteers have raised over $3 million for breast health, technology, heart disease and community outreach programs. Funds also help sponsor the Cancer Research Center and Breast Health Days which provides free screenings and Mammograms for women of the community.
Martha's Market will be held this year at the John Paul Jones Arena on the beautiful campus of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Tickets are just $5.00 and U of V students and kids under 10 are admitted free.
The Market will be open on Friday, October 9th from 9:30am–7pm; Saturday, October 10th from 10am–6pm; and Sunday, October 11th from 10am-4pm. Complimentary Coat and Package check are available. Gourmet Lunch is also available for a fee.
